JOIN IN PLANNING FOR A GREENER GREENPOINT!
Church of the Ascension Hall
122 Java Street
With the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund (GCEF) funding, the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and its partners are inviting your input on plans to install native plant gardens to capture stormwater on blocks between Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street.
This "green infrastructure" will not only reduce pollution to the East River, but also help decrease local flooding, improve air quality, reduce ambient temperatures - and beautify our community.
Come join your neighbors in planning this exciting contribution to greening Greenpoint.
